Harrisburg Chapter, NSDAR held a marker ceremony for nine PA Revolutionary War Patriots that are buried at Wenrich’s Cemetery in Linglestown. Extensive research was conducted by the DAR to ensure each of these Patriots qualify for this honor and to have their names on the bronze plaque. Many descendants of most of the honored veterans were in attendance, which makes any ceremony all the more important and exciting. Pennsylvania Senator Patti Kim presented an honorary citation. Following the rituals and ceremony, guests were treated to light refreshments and cookies.
