President Lemon was invited by Washingtonburg to attend the unveiling of the Cumberland County bell as part of the America250PA’s program Bells Across America. These bells are handmade and painted by local artists, depicting historically relevant scenes for where the bell was created for. The bell had images of Benjamin Franklin, Jim Thorpe, and the Molly Pitcher statue in Carlisle. Washingtonburg’s Steve Troutman commanded Dale Leppard and Jacob Lemon for the presentation of colors inside the courthouse.
Dauphin County also has a bell with Milton Hershey on the front that is on display inside Chocolateworld in Hershey.
