Donate your old worn flags to Harris Ferry!

Is your flag a bit torn or faded?  Does it look like it went through a few battles?  There’s no better time than now to replace it, especially with all the patriotic holidays approaching.

Did you know you shouldn’t just throw your old flag away?  Instead, donate it to Harris Ferry Chapter Sons of the American Revolution as part of an upcoming Flag Retirement Ceremony!  During this ceremony, we conduct an appropriate and respectful ceremony to retire the Colors.  The more flags the merrier, no matter the size or quantity!

Email President Lemon if you wish to donate your old flags for retirement and we can coordinate a drop off or pick up.  In case you can’t donate with us or choose not to, your local VFW or Legion should have old postal service boxes outside their buildings for flag retirement donations.
