Cadet Traejan Goyette of Red Land High School received the SAR Bronze ROTC Award from Harris Ferry Chapter SAR on April 23, 2025.  This included a certificate, a medal, and a check for $200.

His instructor is LTC Frank Schimandle.  Red Land has a very prominent JROTC program, and Traejan was among several others that received awards from various other patriotic organizations like the DAR and SUVCW.

The award was presented by Daniel G. Lute, HFSAR 1st Vice President and Eagle Scout/JROTC/Sea Cadets Committee Chairman.  HFSAR President Lemon was also in attendance.
