The John Harris Jr. Society of the Children of the American Revolution held its official organizing meeting at the Henderson House with the installation of officers and senior officers.  President Lemon attended with his two children.  Lemon is the Society’s Senior Vice President and his children are charter members.  His daughter is the Society’s Treasurer.  Harris Ferry Chapter SAR and Harrisburg Chapter NSDAR are the parent organizers to the Society.
