An open house for the upcoming John Harris Jr. Society of the Children of the American Revolution was held at the Henderson House in Hummelstown with the Harrisburg Chapter NSDAR.  President Lemon and his two children attended; he will be the society’s Vice President and his children will be charter members.  Attendees were treated to snacks, activity and coloring pages, gift bags, and discussed the society’s future.
