Cadet Landon Haines of Lower Dauphin High School received the SAR Bronze ROTC Award from Harris Ferry Chapter SAR on May 21, 2025.  This included a certificate, a medal, and a check for $200.

His instructor is Master Sergeant Nick R. Brady.  Lower Dauphin has a relatively new JROTC program, with this being the second year of its existence.  Landon, along with other members of the Falcon Battalion, received awards from various other patriotic organizations like the DAR and SUVCW.  The program was recently extended to eighth grade students, inspiring even younger students to the JROTC.

The award was presented by Daniel G. Lute, HFSAR 1st Vice President and Eagle Scout/JROTC/Sea Cadets Committee Chairman.  HFSAR President Lemon was also in attendance.
